Highest quality archival print on 100% cotton rag with appropriate white border. An exceptional acid-free paper, designed to meet the longevity requirements of galleries and museums - and will not yellow over time.
The textural quality of this paper is smooth, soft with a delightful velvet touch and appearance. An ever so slightly warm white paper base providing the richest and deepest colours and blacks.
THE STORY BEHIND THE SERIES:
The Ethereal Realm Series is a fine art journey, toward digital unity. It is one account of the many stories around exclusion, within society and the self.
The divided effects or undertones that ‘status’ fosters can trigger an individual at their core value of self worth. It has touched us all, at one time or another influenced by; race, class, education, appearance, experience, orientation or behaviour through to our beliefs and our choices.
One personal experience of this, is the perceived distinction and value placed on two 'art classes’ or disciplines that I hold dear;
• One, I believed to be ‘worthy' or more valuable, that of fine art, &
• The other, ‘unworthy' or less valuable, that of digital art.
I endeavour to bring both skills into a balance of equal standing, working synergistically to enhance and beautify each other.
This outcome of unity is more holistic and aligned with where I am today. Cultivating acceptance, healing and beauty by revering the value of differences, for the unique qualities & perspectives they bring.
Artworks in a limited edition have a set number of prints available for each size offered. "Expansion" comes in a limited edition of only 10 prints in each size. Once all 10 of the prints in these edition sizes have sold out, there will be no other prints of "Expansion" available in those sizes. Limited edition prints of this artwork may be available in other sizes.
